This is a digital example of a page from my type sketchbook which plays on visual and contextual concepts and how they can be linked together through a variation of colour, strokes and text. 
This is an example of two type posters I made which spell out the word 'Invent' the posters work with at least 4 individual fonts and lines to exhibit shapes and sizes of fonts and how they can be used. 
This is another sketchbook page which explores the use of typography with a range of media and textures and how type can be used to visually stimulate and engage an audience as well as being a form of mere communication.  
Looking at different kinds of fonts inspired me to explore how more curvaceous and rounded fonts can be used to create patterns and thus generate new approaches to type. The 'S' i drew is an inspiration and derives from many cursive fonts I looked a
